There are many moving factors when it comes to Call of Duty Warzone and being the best. In order to come out on top, you will want to make sure you are using the best weapons and killing your enemy before they gun you down first. But while it is important to have the best weapons, you also want to make sure that you look your best while diving into the battlefield.
For this reason, you want to make sure you have the perfect operator skin equipped and while you may be tempted to equip a bright and flashy skin, ultimately it is better to suit up in a darker skin that will blend into Warzone’s maps, specifically Verdansk, and be harder to spot. Additionally, many operators will come with access to unique blueprints that will give you an edge over the competition. Using these dark skins will definitely let you blend into your surroundings and give you an advantage that will let you put your skills to their best use.
10. Night Fang – Grinch
Bah humbug! Wait sorry wrong guy who hates Christmas. Regardless, Grinch’s Night Fang skin will definitely haunt your dreams and ruin your Christmas. This skin gives Grinch a nightmarish mask that makes him look like another holiday horror in the form of Krampus. This legendary skin is a part of the Asanbosum bundle. Grinch’s already dark colors and ghillie suit make him perfect for laying low in the bushes and this skin only enhances that aspect. Plus, when you burst out of cover guns blazing the Night Fang mask will certainly terrify your enemies and make them remember you. Who knows, if you score enough kills it’s even possible that your heart could grow three sizes.
9. UDT Ghost – Ghost
Any gamer worth their salt will remember Ghost and his tragic end. Spoiler alert but he gets betrayed and shot in the shot by General Shepard. Jumping into Warzone with this skin is a great way to honor this awesome character as well as show your history with Call of Duty. Plus, Ghost just plain looks cool. This legendary skin is available as part of the Ghost Pack: Oil Rig and fortunately doesn’t make you extra vulnerable to the .44 Magnum which was the weapon Shepard used to end Ghost’s life.
8. Megalith – Velikan
Velikan is already somebody you don’t want to run into in a dark alleyway but especially so when he has his Megalith skin equipped. What stands out most about this skin is the creepy smile painted on his mask. The toothy grin just promises bad intentions and he certainly has a dark background to reinforce this notion. Velikan’s Megalith skin is a part of the Velikan Operator bundle and also comes with some weapons that have the dismemberment effect. Just one look at Velikan and it is clear as to why he belongs to the Shadow Company.
7. Frogman UDT – Mil-Sim
There was never a more appropriate name for Call of Duty skin than Mi-Sim’s Frogman UDT skin. One look at his goggles and you can’t help but picture a frog wielding a gun, almost like Kermit and Rambo had some bizarre fusion. This epic operator skin is available in season 3 as a part of the Frogman UDT: Mil-Sim operator bundle. Unfortunately, this skin does not come with a Kermit voice over but it is still pretty awesome and the dark colors will definitely help camouflage throughout Verdansk.
6. Dreadwood – Ghost
Forests often have a reputation for being dark and spooky, sometimes filled with ghosts and monsters. Reinforce this fear with the Dreadwood skin for the operator Ghost. The ghillie suit Ghost dons with this skin will allow you to blend in with your surroundings and emerge to terrify your enemies. This legendary skin is available in season 5 as a part of the Beyond the Pale operator pack and comes with blueprints and additional content as well. But the pack is worth it just for this awesome skin for Ghost.
5. Bloodletter – Nikto
Bloodletter is an appropriate for this operator in Warzone as that is exactly what you will be doing. Nikto dons a dark appearance and dresses it up with some blood red to really put the fear in his enemies. The legendary Bloodletter skin is a part of the season 4 pack Nikto: Take No Prisoners. The dark aesthetic of this operator skin will definitely help you blend into your surroundings on Verdansk and let you get the drop on your competition. You will have to rely on your skill in order to make your enemies bleed as the name is just that.
4. Azrael – Ghost
We just can’t get enough of Ghost when it comes to Call of Duty Warzone because we are back with another skin. Become the Angel of Death with Ghost’s Azrael skin or at the very least terrifying your enemies into submission. This legendary operator skin is a part of the season 6 bundle Ghost: Grim Reaper. Not only does it look awesome but the dark colors will help you hide on Verdansk. From there you can swoop down like an avenging angel and take out your enemies with ease. When it comes to the Ghost, we all know and love this is one the coolest and best skins you can equip.
3. Carbon Sentinel – Stitch
Stitch’s Carbon Sentinel legendary skin is available in season 2 and man is this skin cool. Wearing this Stitch truly looks like a supervillain capable of taking over the world. But you’ll have to settle for taking 1st place in Warzone but at least you will still look the part. While the Carbon Sentinel is primarily dark colors it does have golden and white that may sacrifice some natural camouflage but we can all agree that it is worth it for the cool points.
2. Balkan Special ATU – Mil-Sim
Ride the lightning in style with Mil-Sim’s epic skin Balkan Special ATU. This all-black anti-terrorist skin is perfect for Warzone and blending in with the shadows. It is a part of the Balkan Blue Lightning Unit pack in season 4. The Balkan Special ATU skin definitely has a SWAT look to it but you’ll have to rely on your own skill in order to win. Because of the skin’s dark hues, you can blend into the shadows much easier which will let you get the drop on an unsuspecting enemy or flee from a particularly relentless attacker.
1. Rook – Roze
The best of the best when it comes to operator skins is going to be Roze’s Rook skin and for good reason. Roze already has a small frame and when combined with how dark the Rook operator skin is, she can be extremely hard to put down. Roze can easily blend into the shadows and be nigh unseeable which makes it easy for you to pop and score a quick kill. This legendary skin can be unlocked by reaching tier 100 in the Season 4 Battle Pass or by purchasing the Roze Operator Bundle. Because of this, some players have been calling the skin pay-to-win due to how hard it can be to actually see it and want it to be nerfed. Regardless of if the nerf hammer comes down, it would be in your best interest to use this skin while you still can.
These operator skins will give you an edge over your opponents because you will not only just look cool but also be able to blend into your surroundings better. This will allow you to stay hidden and carefully place your shots with accuracy or burst from the bushes gun blazing. In addition to having the best guns and operator skins, you will need to stock up on supplies in order to stay ahead of the competition. And with all competitive games, you will need to have the right supplies and gear outside of the game too. In the end, you will want to have your style, and choosing the best operator skin is absolutely a key component in forming your look.
