Daggers are one of the fastest weapons in Elden Ring. They might be risky in some instances, mainly due to their short range but knowing your way around that and turning it into your greatest strength is the first step in being the best there is when handling a dagger.
For dagger lovers, it’s all about how much fun each kill brings. Either by sneaking up on an enemy or getting close enough to slash and pierce as much as you want and dodge out safely. Bosses will come at you during the course of the game. There’d be dungeons to navigate and invaders who won’t hesitate to make you bleed.
The variety of weapons at your disposal will go a long way in preparing you for unplanned situations. So, having a dagger-like the Crystal Knife on hand can help you apply a quick status effect where heavier weapons wouldn’t dare.
In this article, we’d discuss what you are getting into when you lay your hands on the crystal knife dagger and the best build to use with it.
Crystal Knife – Best Endgame Dagger in Elden Ring
The Crystal Knife is made of sharpened hard crystals and is one of the best short-range weapons in Elden Ring. It’s a dagger weapon that does Slash, Pierce damage, and scales on Strength (8), Dexterity (12), and Intelligence (12). Its normal skill is called Quickstep, a maneuver that prioritizes quick feet and allows you to circle while having targets on lock.
Attack Power: Physical 82 Magic 53 Critical 100
Guarded Damage Negation: 32/31/18/18/18/15
How to get Crystal Knife
Getting a hold of the crystal Knife means you have to make your way to the northeastern Liurnia of the Lakes and locate the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. You will find the dagger in a chest three levels down. Accessing this location can be done either by foot or on horseback. All you have to do is follow the waters to the northeastern shore.
Make sure to have a magic imbued weapon, and upon locating the tunnel, you have to be alert for Marionette soldiers. You might also encounter Diggers, but they won’t attack you unless you do so first or try to steal what they’re mining.
Kill all Marionette soldiers that come at you when going through the tunnel. There’d be two Marionette soldiers hanging on a wall waiting for you to come close. Make sure to deal with them as quickly as possible and go through the doorway where they came from. You’d see two other Marionettes wielding daggers and guarding a chest. Kill them both to get a hold of the Crystal Knife.
Best Build for Crystal Knife
When creating a build, dealing Utmost damage to your enemies is the first thing to consider. Besides, getting it right means you have as much fun as you want while still being as ruthless as possible. As long as your opponent can bleed, a dagger with blood loss can do a solid 12-15 percent chunk of HP off an enemy.
Once you throw in a solid shield to match, you’d perform exceptionally well in both close and mid-range battles. Below are the two best builds for the Crystal Knife in Elden Ring.
Class: Prophet, Confessor
Primary Stats: Faith and Mind
Secondary Stats: Vigor and Dexterity

Talisman: Moon of Nokstella
Armor: Black Knife Set, Land of Reeds Set, and Spellblade Set
Skills: Ash of War Bloody Slash and Ash of War Unsheathe
Getting the best of these builds means you have to learn the art of dagger combos. Time your dodge and roll perfectly and use quick attacks to your advantage. You’d turn your enemies to ashes in no time.
