You have to pay a visit to Enia and turn in the Remembrance of Hoarah Loux to make the Axe of Godfrey yours. You have to face Godfrey again in Leyndell, Capital of Ash. This takes place towards the end of Elden Ring’s main quest. But this time, you’re up against his alter ego, Hoarah Loux.

Be wary of Hoarah Loux’s roaring cry, where he throws his head to the back and creates a short-range pulse of energy that knocks a player back. This movement is hard to predict. However, run away if you notice him straighten up with fists behind his head.

Before the end of the fight, Godfrey will unveil his true identity as Hoarah Loux. Therefore, you’ll get a hold of his remembrance and give it to the Finger Reader Enia in Roundtable Hold. Enia will present you with the option of choosing between two powerful items, and the axe of Godfrey is one of them.
