Abby Espiritu

Abby Espiritu is a writer and self-proclaimed video game fanatic. While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (double major) in American Studies and Modern Culture & Media at Brown University, she stumbled upon a Video Games Studies course where she got to read and write about video games for an entire semester. While she loved the class immensely, she wondered what the heck she would do with all the information she had learned. Luckily for her, she actually found something to do with it - make a living writing about video games! In addition to her articles on GamingTopTens, Abby also writes for fellow gaming site The Gamer. When she isn’t writing about, religiously playing, or obsessing over her favorite RPG’s (like Persona 5 and Fire Emblem: Three Houses) Abby can be found writing for a variety of sites and publications, such as Scribd and Flex Media Group. Beyond her writing endeavors, Abby is also an onscreen and voiceover actress as well as a casting production assistant based in New York City. When she isn’t working, you can probably find her in one of three places: watching a Broadway show in NYC, attending an anime convention in full-on cosplay, or sitting on her couch playing video games.
